It’s You. It’s Always Been You. I heard someone say it’s easy to write about someone you love, so here I am — writing to you, writing about you. I get why most love phrases seem corny. I, for one, frown upon corny. I mean, the least you can be is original. Yet with you, it’s corny”ly” (I am allowed, by the way, to make up words)… with you, it’s cornyly easy to say: it’s you. It’s always been you. Perhaps one may question my choice of words — like “always” — when there’s been so many others before. Maybe scratch “so many”; that’s just me being extra. I mean, I would question such sentiments too. Perhaps I could school the reader for clarity’s sake. Perhaps I could tell them how even in the midst of the others I thought I had, you were there.
